ICLS was established in 1998 for the purpose of training adults, with a university degree, to become ESL instructors. Therefore, ICLS knows the importance of having qualified ESL instructors to provide a professional English language program. The qualifications, experience and dedication of the instructors usually determines the quality of program that ESL students will receive.

Since 1999, ICLS has been providing ESL classes to international students who are completing an academic program in Canada. ICLS also specializes in providing ESL and academic tutorial services to students who do not speak English as their first language.

In 2008 ICLS opened a new ESL school at 65 St. Clair Avenue East on the sixth floor. This is a very desirable area of Toronto to have a school. The school is surrounded by a variety of restaurants, a library, a large park to relax or play sports and a commercial area with banks and retail stores that sell a wide range of clothing and gifts. From the subway (public transportation), you will be able to walk to ICLS in just three minutes.

Our school is newly renovated, air conditioned, and has lots of windows to provide natural light and a great view of Toronto. The student lounge has comfortable sofas and vending machines if you wish to purchase a drink or snack. The computer room gives you free access to the internet to enable you to keep in contact with your family and friends.
